I want to write about a topic I am very passionate about. Inbound marketing is the kind of advertising where customers come to your business, and you do not go out there looking for them. Outbound marketing is more of the traditional approach of marketing using TV and radio to reach out to your audience. Inbound marketing has many approaches, how you approach your audience will determine if you make the sale or not. Let’s look at these scenarios of two different firms, marketing their skin care product. FIRM 1; we are the best in creating skin care products. No other company offers better products than we. We are number one worldwide. Our products are the highest selling skin products on the market. FIRM 2; your skin needs proper care, Aloe Vera is a natural chemical that protects your skin from pathogens that cause skin allergies and irritations. Aloe Vera shields the excessive sunlight from getting into contact with the skin surface acting as a sun block, leaving your skin healthy and smooth. Vitamin C helps the skin have luster and stretching properties, products high in vitamin c will leave your skin moist and conditioned. Product X has just the right amount of aloe Vera and vitamin C to get your skin in perfect condition. From the two firms above 1 has sold their company as the best with no credible information to back them up. Firm 2 sold their product as a product that would help the user. From human understanding, people will most likely buy the product from firm 2 due to the marketing approach they have taken. One of the best ways of marketing products online is giving information about the product and not only insisting the product is the best. At the end tell them about a product (not necessary, stating your affiliation with the product) and ‘recommend’ it to the buyer. I am a full-time freelance writer and create content on a daily basis, and my best pieces are not always the ones with the best language pizzazz but ones that deliver most information. (And just like that, I have marketed myself without really marketed myself). Doing the same for your products will help your company become more reliable and trustworthy to the online community.
