i know exactly how it feels to want to buy an entire store when you find out about an upcoming sale. You're probably thinking to yourself that " it's now or never!", you don't want to miss the chance you'll never get again! For some of us, sale time means bad news for our pocket. Ironically, instead of getting the bargain of our lifetime, the very opposite happens and we end up hurting our finances. First of all, not because there is a sale, we have to be there. Just think about how many more sales will come, yes, believe it or not, you will have more opportunities ahead ( although your mind plays emotional games with you, telling you that if you lose this chance to get whatever it is you're dying to get, it will be it for you.) When you find yourself getting so excited that you can't think clearly, take a breather and don't rush out of the house yet. Try to think about the worse that could happen if you didn't get the item. Most likely, you will be more than okay. Second of all, if you couldn't help it and left your house to go to the store having the sale, at least wait before you get there and trace two columns on a piece of paper: on one side you list your WANTS and on the other, your NEEDS. Some things you truly need to purchase because they are important to have, REALLY important. And then you have the things that you don't necessarily need, you just want to have them. Learn to make the difference and put in on paper BEFORE you go shopping and stick to the NEEDS list first, and then allow yourself one or two items from your WANT list. Isn't it great being able to get some affordable items during a sale without exhausting all your funds? That's the idea!
